In a stunning move the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to sign quarterback Baker Mayfield in a deal to replace Tom Brady. Sources close to the situation report that the move, which has been in the works for several weeks, was finally finalized on Wednesday.

As per NFL insiders, the former No. 1 overall pick reached an agreement today on a one-year deal worth up to $8.5 million with the Buccaneers camp.

Mayfield, who was drafted by the Browns with the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, was the team's starting quarterback before becoming a bit of a journeyman.
