A possible bromance between Tom Brady and ben Affleck was reportedly squashed by Jennifer Lopez.

Ben Affleck is a well-known Boston sports fan. So it's no surprise that he is a big fan of quarterback Tom Brady. After all, Brady won six Lombardi trophies with the New England Patriots. The two have apparently met on several occasions. They were looking to broaden their friendship by planning trips together. But that might not be happening.

Jennifer Lopez, who has been married to Affleck since last year, shared her feelings on a possible friendship between the actor and star quarterback. According to Radar Online, Lopez isn't comfortable with her husband spending a lot of time with Brady, who recently divorced his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.

"She won't stand in the way if they want to do business projects together. But as far as boys' time in Florida or New York, which is what Ben's proposing, it's a nightmare scenario for Jennifer. She's not going to stand for it."

An anonymous source has said that Lopez is comfortable with her husband and Tom Brady working together in a business setting. But spending time with a recently divorced friend makes her uneasy.

Ben Affleck declared his love for Tom Brady on 2020 interview

As a die-hard New England Patriots fan, Ben Affleck loves Tom Brady. Affleck spoke about his love for the seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in March 2020. This was prior to Brady's decision to leave the Patriots and sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He spoke about meeting with Brady at the White House Correspondents Dinner after he won the Super Bowl in 2002. He called Tom Brady the "King of Boston".

“I met Tom the year that he replaced Drew Bledsoe, and I was actually at this random White House Correspondents’ Dinner. I went to a party, and I saw him. They had just won the Super Bowl in 2002. He was like 22 and I was 27, so I was older than him."
"I was like, ‘Oh my God, so great to meet you. You’re the king of Boston,’ and he goes, ‘No way, you’re the king of Boston.' The king thinks I’m the king. ... I realized then that I loved him.”

Affleck said that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback responded by calling him "King of Boston" as well.
