Chris Broussard heaps Super Bowl pressure on Kyle Shanahan's 49ers for 2024 season

The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most successful teams in the National Football League in the last five years. They have been to the NFC Championship game four out of the last five years and have made it to the Super Bowl twice.

Chris Broussard believes it's high time the 49ers win the Super Bowl this year. Speaking on FS1's "First Things First" on Monday, the Fox Sports analyst said the Niners have failed to get over the line in the biggest moments.

Broussard added that 2024 will be a "Super Bowl or Bust" season for Kyle Shanahan's team. (Start at 1:26):

"How many years can you knock on the door?, Broussard asked. "If you don't kick it in, at some point, it's like 'my goodness!' They need to win because last five years, they lost it twice."

Broussard added:

"They lost twice in the conference finals, or championship. So they gotta win... I think if they don't win this year, are they gonna break some stuff up? You know, because it's like 'my goodness.'"

Kyle Shanahan and 49ers will have a tough road to the Super Bowl

The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a disappointing Super Bowl 58 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kyle Shanahan's team missed their mark after deciding to receive the ball first in overtime. This decision will sting them for a long time.

The Niners will enter the 2024 season as one of the Super Bowl favorites. But their tough schedule will bring its set of challenges for them.

The first real challenge will be taking on a healthy Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets on Monday Night Football to kickstart the 2024 season. They'll travel thrice on the road before returning for the Super Bowl rematch in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs at home.

Before heading into the bye week, the 49ers will take on the NFC giant Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.

San Francisco will hit the road after the bye week to take on Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and return home. Kyle Shanahan's team will have tough back-to-back challenges on the road in Week 12 and Week 13 when they face the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills.

After returning home for the matchup against the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams, the Niners will finish their regular season on the road, taking on a lethal Miami Dolphins offense.

ESPN has the 49ers tied at No. 12 for the toughest Strength of Schedule. Navigating through multiple tough stretches of games will be the key to a Super Bowl win for Kyle Shanahan and the team.
