San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa is coming off the best season of his four-year career as he just won Defensive Player of the Year.

He led the NFL with 18.5 sacks and added 51 total tackles, one pass defelection, and two forced fumbles.

Appearing on The Richard Sherman Podcast via The Volume, Sherman asked Nick if there was any chance that he and his brother Joey would team up.

Sherman said:

"Is there any chance you can tell your brother, hey, calm down use the California taxes, don't worry about finances, I mean who's worried about that?"

Nick responded:

"Joey's defintely looking good financially. I think him on the other side would be kind of I think might break the NFL."

Sherman then asked which of the two would wear No. 97 since they both rock that number.

Sheraman:

"It would 100 per cent break the NFL. Who gets to wear 97 at that point though? Big Bear or Little Bear?"

Nick:

"That's a good one, I think I've established myself in the Bay so he's wearing, or we could double up, I don't know."

Nick's brother, Joey, has recorded four 10+ sack seasons and the two would be one of the best edge rushing duos in the NFL.

As a rookie in 2019, he recorded nine sacks, an interception, two fumble recoveries and 47 tackles. He missed much of the 2020 season due to a torn ACL suffered in Week 2.

After the 2023 season, Bosa will be a free agent. The 49ers are hoping to get a deal done this off-season before the season begins so they can ensure that Bosa is a 49er for years to come.
