The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have one of the biggest rivalries in not only football but all sports, but that doesn't mean they can't root for one another. Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will be rooting for his buddy and former Oklahoma teammate, Jalen Hurts, in the Super Bowl.

When asked how excited he was for his former college teammate to be playing in the Super Bowl, Lamb said:

"Very excited, man. I think it all goes into little shadows, because I play for the Cowboys and he plays for the Eagles, but I want him to know that I'm very excited, very proud of my mans. I know how hard he is. You know, he been through the work for the Super Bowl, and I know he's prepared and I know he's not gonna dissapoint."

When asked by John Clark of CBS if he's rooting for the Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys receiver said he's rooting for Hurts:

"I'm rooting for Jalen, no Eagles. I'm a fan of my teammate. I never been on that team."

The two were teammates at Oklahoma in 2019. Lamb recorded 62 catches for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns with Hurts throwing him the ball.

Dallas' season ended when they suffered a 19-12 divisional playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, the Eagles will be playing in their second Super Bowl of the last five years on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It's safe to say that the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles will have a good rivalry for at least the next few seasons.

The two teams battled it out this season for the NFC East title, with the Eagles being crowned champs with a 14-3 record. Dallas finished right behind with a 12-5 record.

The Eagles won the first matchup between the two in October 26-17. During the Week 16 martchup on Christmas Eve, Dallas avenged their loss with a close 40-34 shootout victory.

Next season, both teams should be competing for the division again with a chance at the Super Bowl.
