The Buffalo Bills suffered but managed to beat the Miami Dolphins 34-31 to advance to the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs.

Buffalo have now won their previous eight games. This, of course, does not include the Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals that was stopped midway through the first quarter following Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest and collapse on the field.

Hamlin has made a quick recovery after being in critical condition for days. He's already at home, progressing through his recovery and supporting the Bills from afar. It's unlikely he'll return to the field this season, but what's really important is that he has defeated the health concern.

As his team struggled against the Dolphins, Hamlin watched from home and live-tweeted through the game. Once the victory was confirmed, his reaction said it all.

Buffalo must wait to discover who they will face in the divisional round. If the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens, it's Bills vs. Bengals next weekend.

If the Ravens somehow upset the Bengals, without Lamar Jackson, Buffalo will play at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

No matter the opponent, Sean McDermott's team will play at the Highmark Stadium in the divisional round.

What happened to Damar Hamlin? Has the Bills' safety recovered?

Hamlin collapsed during the first quarter of Monday Night Football after a routine tackle on Tee Higgins. Hamlin instantly went into cardiac arrest and had his heartbeat restored while on the field. Many of his teammates were crying on the field while he was receiving treatment.

CPR was administered to Hamlin for several minutes. He spent the night at the intensive care unit of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The game was suspended after discussions involving Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, Bills head coach Sean McDermott, and game officials.

Hamlin made a quick recovery as his breathing went back to normal. He suffered no neurological damage. The NFL later canceled the game, meaning Buffalo lost their advantage for the first AFC seed.

A possible AFC Championship Game between Kansas City and Buffalo will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, as the NFL will put the game in a neutral field because of what happened to Hamlin.
