Reggie Barlow is the head coach of the DC Defenders, and this is his first season at the helm of the XFL franchise.

Barlow is an experienced American head who that has spent the better part of his coaching career as the head coach of Virginia State University. He spent six seasons in Virginia, leading them to an unbeaten regular season in 2017.

He also had a decent college playing career before he transitioned to coaching. Barlow was a Receiver and Return option for the Alabama State Hornets. The Jacksonville Jaguars selected him in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL draft. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, the Super Bowl Champs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In 1998, he led the league in punt return yardage with 555 yards on 43 returns. Barlow wants to add the 2023 XFL Championship to his burgeoning trophy case.


Who is the Offensive Coordinator of the DC Defenders?

Fred Kaiss is the offensive coordinator of the Defenders, and just like his head coach, this is his first season at the helm. He has served as offensive coordinator at Morgan State University, Alabama A&M University, Hampton University, Tennessee State University, Alabama State University and Alcorn State University.

Kaiss was announced as the offensive coordinator of the Defenders of the XFL. He was reunited with former head coach Reggie Barlow, who he worked with at Alabama State University. Both parties hope their combo can bring XFL glory to DC.


Who is the Defensive Coordinator of the DC Defenders?

Gregg Williams is the defensive coordinator of the Defenders, and his defensive know-how should help take the Defenders to the next level.

Williams is the most experienced member of the side's coaching staff, and other coaches might look up to him for wisdom. He has an extensive coaching resume in the National Football League, including stints as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns.

He also won Super Bowl XLIV as the defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints. This is his first season in the XFL, where he will look to cook up some stellar defensive plays.
