Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen has chimed in on the 'Damar Hamlin body double' conspiracy theory. According to a few of the stranger theories, Hamlin has been cloned by the NFL. They believe that Hamlin wasn't present at the Bills game and that the person waving is a body double.

Though fans are divided over the intricate details of the theory, quarterback Josh Allen was shocked. The QB wondered if people actually believe this and was quick to shut down the idea on "Kyle Brandt’s Basement."

Josh Allen assured fans about Damar Hamlin's situation

While speaking to Kyle Brandt, Allen seemed genuinely surprised by people's claims and theories. The 26-year-old ended up dismissing the rumors on his end.

"Yeah, that’s stupid," Allen said. "He was in the locker room with us pre-game. So yes, that was Damar. There is absolutely no chance. That's THE Damar Hamlin. That's out guy. That's our brother.

"He was with us pregame, postgame. He was up in the suite with his family. His little brother. One hundred percent. So people need to stop."

Interestingly, Damar Hamlin himself addressed the clone rumors online. Though he did not make a direct statement, the young safety seemed aware of the situation and varied comments.

He shared an image of himself on a mural, adding the caption "clone" along with a ninja emoji. A hoodie covered Hamlin's face, making his point even clearer.

While some thought he was trolling those who prayed for him, others were quick to Hamlin's defense. They explained that he was shading those who are making it out to be a conspiracy theory.

Earlier this month, Hamlin collapsed on the field following a heart attack. Though he was in critical condition, Hamlin has made a significant recovery since.

Although the body double theory is indeed wild, it is illogical. More likely is that Hamlin is wrapped up and wearing a mask due to it being extremely cold in Buffalo and having a compromised immune system at present.
