Patrick Mahomes took a rare loss on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. While seeing the Chiefs quarterback lose was a novelty for most, it was not one for Joe Burrow. While speaking about the matchup on Get Up, former NFL player Ryan Clark essentially knocked the quarterback out of the "Michael Jordan" conversation:

"Throughout the game, you heard Tony Romo refer to Patrick Mahomes as Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan never had a Joe Burrow. He never had a guy that he couldn't beat. Michael Jordan started out early and he had the "Magics" and the "Birds". But once he became the man, there was no one who could contest him."

He continued, laying out just how badly the matchup has fared for the Chiefs this year:

"Joe Burrow has beaten Patrick Mahomes three times in a calendar year. Joe Burrow has the type of poise. Joe Burrow makes the type of plays and understands these big moments to me more than any other quarterback in the AFC."

Lastly, he explained how the Bengals weren't remotely fearful of the quarterback:

"Aside from Patrick Mahomes, when you look at this game yesterday, the thing that struck me was all throughout the week you could tell the Cincinnati Bengals had no fear."
