Aaron Rodgers' has spoken his mind on multiple issues, but his latest is on a decades-old virus that is still dangerous. However, his latest theorems have him in deep water with a renowned geneticist.

His claims on the origin of HIV have taken the world by surprise. Though Rodgers has not made any further comments regarding the issue, geneticist Ian Copeland aired his offense regarding the knowledge of the 2011 Super Bowl winner.

Aaron Rodgers appeared on Eddie Bravo’s podcast ‘Look Into It’ a couple of months ago. On the podcast, Rodgers unleashed his conspiracy theory regarding the origin of HIV and its similarity with COVID-19. On the podcast, Rodgers said:

“The Blueprint, the game plan was made in the 80s, create a pandemic, you know, with a virus that's going wild, right?”

Geneticist Copeland took a huge issue with the statements made by the quarterback and responded harshly on X (previously Twitter). Copeland wrote:

“Quick question bud, @AaronRodgers12, did you get all of this knowledge pertaining to the origin of HIV from your honorary doctorate? I'm just asking, because you literally have no clue what you are talking about.
"I guarantee you, if I was able to have a conversation with you, your inability to show competence in the realm of microbiology would be laid bare. I'd call you a joke, but there is nothing funny about this level of ignorance.”

Copeland is not the first person to display concern regarding this line of thinking by Rodgers. Previously, an ex-CIA agent had also tried to debunk these theories by linking them to old-school Soviet propaganda.

Aaron Rodgers is one of one

This is not the first time Rodgers has been called out on his theories. The New York Jets superstar has an ongoing feud with late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel regarding his theories. And Kimmel has been abrasive in talking about some of the wildest conspiracy theories that have been put forth by the four-time MVP.

However, Aaron Rodgers has neither slowed down nor does he plan to, by the looks of it.
