Juzszczyk had an eventful offseason. He was released by the 49ers in March but spent only a few days as a free agent before San Francisco signed him back on a two-year, $8 million deal.

Meanwhile, Pearsall had a solid rookie season with the 49ers in 2024. The former first-round pick posted 400 yards and three touchdowns on 31 receptions, but San Francisco struggled as a team and finished with a 6-11 record.

Hockenson, on the other hand, missed four games for the Vikings at the start of the 2024 season. He finished the regular season with 455 yards on 41 receptions but without a touchdown. He then recorded 64 yards and a TD on five receptions in Minnesota's 27-9 loss to the LA Rams in the wild-card round.

On Monday, George Kittle said that he wants the San Francisco 49ers to bounce back strongly after a disappointing 2024 season.

"We know we have pretty lofty expectations, we always do," Kittle said on CBS Sports HQ. "The way that we do training camp, I think coach (Kyle) Shanahan will have those young guys ready to go real quick."

The superstar tight end also addressed the departures of some key players from the team this offseason.

"We lost some guys and that is obvious, we're aware of that," George Kittle added. "But I feel like the way we signed guys in free agency, the way that we drafted, we targeted those holes that we lost."

"I'm not going to say we're going to replace All-Pro players, Pro Bowl players immediately but I think we drafted really well."

Kittle, who was drafted by the 49ers in 2017, has earned six Pro Bowl honors with the franchise ever since. He signed a blockbuster four-year, $76.4 million contract extension with the team this offseason and will be aiming to get to his third Super Bowl next season.

George Kittle has played two Super Bowls with the 49ers but ended up on the losing side on both occasions.
