New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart paid a special visit to another iconic team in the city. The No. 25 pick attended the New York Yankees' series opener against the Boston Red Sox on Friday.
As the 27-time World Series champions took the 9-6 win at home, Dart watched the $8.2 billion worth franchise (according to Forbes) beat their archrivals.

Dart shared the Yankees' Instagram story to show how long he's been supporting the team. He reacted to the picture showing him in 2008 and 2025 with a three-word message.

"Pinstripes for life💙," Dart wrote.

After being selected by the Giants in the first round of April's draft, Dart is embracing the city. This time, he remembered his old passion and put on the Yankees' jersey again.
He was drafted out of Ole Miss to potentially become the Giants' future franchise quarterback. However, the team plans to give him time to acclimate to the league.
Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston will be there to mentor him next season.
Russell Wilson opens up on mentoring Jaxson Dart
Russell Wilson joined another team with a fierce quarterback competition for the second consecutive season, but he's not changing his approach. Speaking on Jaxson Dart's presence and having the opportunity to mentor the New York Giants rookie quarterback, Wilson didn't mince words.
"I always share, and I always think about communication," Wilson said on Thursday, via the Associated Press. "I'm a big believer in communicating out loud, just, 'Here's what I'm thinking, here's what I'm saying.'
"You don't hold any information. I think that for us, it's always about us being the best that we can all be. And I think for me, when you have tremendous confidence in yourself, you have no problem sharing it with others. I think that's just how I've always believed."
The Giants picked Abdul Carter at No. 6 before they traded back to the first round to get Dart. The expectations on the quarterback are high, but the Giants hope that they don't face a scenario where they'll be forced to send their gem to the field earlier than expected.
