Brock Bowers was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders with the 15th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft on Thursday. Bowers celebrated the big night back home in Napa, California, surrounded by his family and girlfriend, Rose Newell.
On Friday, Newell shared photos from draft night on her Instagram and expressed how proud she was of Bowers for achieving his dreams. She included several photos from the night, which included the former Georgia standout's shock and excitement at hearing his name called.
"You did it🤍 I’m so proud of you @brockbowers GO RAIDERS!" Newell wrote.

In the collage of photos, Rose Newell can be seen in a brown, strapless dress sitting to the right of Brock Bowers, who wore a tan suit. She looked on, smiling as he put his new Las Vegas Raiders hat on.
The two-time national champion and John Mackey Award winner will now head to Las Vegas in hopes of helping the Raiders' offense increase its production.
Even with an ankle injury in 2023, Bowers still played in 10 games, catching 56 passes for a total of 714 yards and six touchdowns. With a full NFL season ahead of him, the sky is the limit for the 21-year-old.
Brock Bowers and girlfriend Rose Newell spent time in Napa Valley ahead of NFL Draft
Just days before Brock Bowers' dream of playing in the National Football League was realized, he spent some downtime at home in Napa, California. Bowers' girlfriend, Rose Newell, who also hails from Napa, shared photos of the fun the couple and their families had over the weekend exploring Napa Valley.
In the photos Newell shared on her Instagram story, the couple can be seen having fun at a wine tasting. Each holding their own wine glasses with the picturesque vineyard behind them. In another photo, the former Georgia tight end was seen taking a sniff of his glass of wine, a common practice while wine tasting.
The couple was with a group of their loved ones and appeared to be taking a party bus to different vineyards and locations along the way.
