The style takes inspiration from the 18th-century French château and was completed in 2004. Covering a massive 30,000-square-foot area, architect John Ike, designer Geoffrey Bradfield and Horizon Builders worked together on the project.

The listing was shared with Heather Corey.

Dan Snyder bought the property in 2001, acquiring it from Jordan’s King Hussein and Queen Noor. Back then, he paid $8.64 million for the estate. Interestingly, this is not the first time this place has gone up for sale. It was listed back in 2018, which is when it officially went on sale.

“The three worked effortlessly together to create this impressive four-story mansion constructed with French-milled limestone and a slate Mansard roof punctuated with limestone dormers,” the listing said.

The entrance features iron doors, custom-made to fit the ceilings and an iconic 24-foot limestone fireplace. The double-height living room also opens to a balcony that offers up a splendid view of the Potomac River. The dining and library are connected to the living room.

The kitchen is iconic in its own way, featuring commercial equipment. A complete chef's kitchen, the items have been updated. Furthermore, one can enjoy their morning meal at the breakfast solarium, located in the southwest wing.

Other amenities like the gym, spa and office are in the northwest wing.

The lavish mansion comes together with five bedroom suites, one main suite making up the entire third floor. It features an iconic view of the river, along with a separate sitting room and two full bathrooms.

If one needs to work, there's an office and a built-in bookcase with a marble fireplace. The lower floors feature a mahogany club room, which includes a wine cellar and home theater, which was added in 2017.

There's also a two-bedroom guest house on the estate.
