Super Bowl LVII - Previews
The Super Bowl will be held in State Farm Stadium

The Super Bowl, one of the biggest events in all sports, is coming very soon. Since the Super Bowl is always held at a (theoretically) neutral site, the field has to be prepared beforehand so it can represent the teams and the game itself.

This year's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This is where the Arizona Cardinals ordinarily play.

Sports reporter Ari Meirov tweeted out a first look at the field and how it's being designed for the big game.

The Chiefs have decided to go with yellow for their end zone, perhaps to differentiate from the Cardinal red that ordinarily features (and is the color of the seats) in this stadium. Conversely, the Eagles have decided to make their end zone green, matching their jersey color for the game.

The field will continue to undergo changes throughout this week as everyone there prepares to host the biggest sporting event in America this year.

Rihanna will perform the half-time show, which will occur sometime around 9:00 pm EST. It's difficult to time the game, especially with how important the advertisements are, but that is a safe guess.

This will be Mahomes' third trip to the Super Bowl. He's 1-1 so far, with a win in his first try over the San Francisco 49ers and a loss against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
