Patrick Mahomes is about six weeks removed from the Super Bowl and his wife is enjoying a break from stressing about her husband every Sunday. Instead of celebrating a Super Bowl ring, the couple appear to be celebrating a different type of ring as Brittany took to Instagram to post pictures of the two and others at a friend's wedding.

Summing up the grouping of five pictures, the quarterback's wife simply said, "love celebrating love" with a couple of heart emojis. The first picture features the couple posing near a marble handrail outside on a sunny day. The next four pictures center around the couple and a group of friends.

The first four pictures feature simple smiles, but the group had a little fun in the final picture. Here's a look at what was posted:

At the start of the 2021 NFL season, Mahomes enjoyed one of the best duos out wide in the league. He had Tyreek Hill breaking safeties in the secondary and down low, he had Travis Kelce. In 2022, he played without the superstar receiver, Hill after the Chiefs traded him to the Miami Dolphins.

In Hill's place was Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdez-Scantling, who many labeled as a massive downgrade from Hill. Despite the downgrade, the Chiefs offense was as deadly as ever. Later down the line, the team also acquired Kadarius Toney, but the receiver has plenty of skeptics as he's failed to live up to his first-round draft position.

As things stand, heading into 2023, the quarterback will even be without Juju Smith-Schuster as the front office deemed it appropriate to let him walk to the New England Patriots. They will be leaning on Toney and Valdes-Scantling. According to ESPN, Valdes-Scantling is on deck to become the team's first-string wide receiver.

Of course, things are not finalized for the Chiefs. Trades are always in play, but the NFL draft looms large. In about a month, the team will be able to choose from some of the best prospects. As it stands, the team has a first, second, and third-round pick this year. If they are going to find a starting wide receiver in 2023, most expect it to come as one of these three picks.

Will the team take an expensive shot at a receiver or will they be content to see if Mahomes can repeat his performance from 2022 with less firepower?
