IN PHOTOS: Travis Kelce joins forces with Aaron Judge in latest collab

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce recently met up with Aaron Judge for seemingly no other reason than to exchange jerseys. The two recorded the exchange on Instagram and added a couple of pictures to boot.

Here's a look at what went down on the baseball field while standing at home plate:

The jerseys that were exchanged were a custom job. Aaron Judge's name was put on a red Kansas City Chiefs jersey with No. 99. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce's name was put on a Yankees jersey with a No. 87.

The meetup was done in collaboration with Ashoc energy and in all three pieces of content, one could see the energy drinks. However, they weren't front and center. If one wasn't looking for them, they may not have noticed.

While it is all smiles, jokes, and high fives now, the Chiefs are in a bit of a hole heading into 2023, especially on offense. With Juju Smith-Schuster out of the picture and no replacement acquired, Kelce is left as the de facto number one receiver on the team.

Meaning, opposing defenses will be able to go man-to-man against other receivers and simply focus on smothering the tight end. Of course, there's still time for a trade to take place, and with the NFL Draft arriving front and center, the team could still take one of the top rookie receivers available.

However, it would still take the rookie time to heat up, putting the tight end in the same position needing to essentially put the team on his back. By the same token, the tight end is facing his own troubles. He will be turning 34 this season and while his production has been as explosive as any in the history of the game, fathertime is undefeated.

If his age catches up to him this season and the Chiefs haven't found a wide receiver to take over as the number one guy, the offense could have much more trouble moving, even with Andy Reid at the controls.

At the same time, the team as a whole will be attempting to avoid the dreaded Super Bowl hangover.

However, if the Los Angeles Rams can win the big game and then put up the least winningest season of Sean McVay's career, the Chiefs could also become vulnerable in the same calendar year.
