The Dallas Cowboys will open their season against the Cleveland Browns and there's a lot to look forward to, as is the case with the Cowboys every week. Despite several storylines threatening to disrupt Dallas' preparations for their season opener, the franchise will look to set the tone for another winning season under Mike McCarthy when they take the field in Cleveland on Sunday evening. In the middle of all of this, CeeDee Lamb's status was up in the air for a while.
However, after he signed a four-year, $136 million contract to settle his long-term future, Cowboys fans breathed a sigh of relief. Lamb was listed as exempt after he reported late in the offseason. But here's the latest on his availability for their season opener.

Dallas Cowboys vs Cleveland Browns injury report
Cowboys injury report
The Cowboys have seven names on their latest injury report and crucially Lamb is not one of them.
Dak Prescott still hasn't signed on the dotted line but he will line up under center. Cooper Rush and Trey Lance will serve as his backups. When it comes to injury concerns, the Cowboys will have to wait for word on DB Caelen Carlson, who's dealing with a knee injury. DT Mazi Smith's availability is also a cause for concern. He is dealing with an Achilles injury.
Rookie DE Marshawn Kneeland is also on the injury report with a knee issue.
All in all, the Cowboys are expected to start four rookies on Sunday evening, Kneeland's availability notwithstanding. Both Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe are expected to see significant game time against the Browns while Marist Liufau is also expected to feature owing DeMarvion Overshown's hip injury.
Browns injury report
The most significant name who is officially out of Week 1 is Nick Chubb, who's on the PUP list to start the season.
Apart from Chubb, Jerry Jeudy is also dealing with a knee injury, though the most significant piece of news for the Browns will be that they will have Deshaun Watson back, though he might be a little rusty after sitting out most of preseason with a shoulder injury.
