Jason Whitlock spars with ESPN’s Mina Kimes over ethnic slur controversy

Mina Kimes found herself in the middle of a controversy as a Boston sports radio personality used an ethnic slur on-air.Chris Curtis was asked along with his colleagues to list their top five nips, a term used for tiny bottles. The word “nip” also carries a negative overtone towards those of Japanese ancestry.Curtis replied:“Uh, I’d probably go Mina Kimes.”In a statement by WEEI, Curtis said he meant to say Mila Kunis. Ultimately, he was given a one-week suspension for his comments.Jason Whitlock then entered the conversation. He wondered if Kimes was truly harmed by Curtis' comments and spoke down on her abilities as an NFL analyst.Whitlock said:&quot;Were Kimes’ feelings legitimately hurt?
