The Jonas Brothers and the Dallas Cowboys had some exciting news to share with fans. The award-winning act would be performing live at for the Dallas Cowboys' halftime show at the AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys will be playing the New York Giants.

The performance will be televised along with the game, and will be shown live on Fox for Thanksgiving.

While the announcement might be a surprise for many, the Jonas Brothers did hint at a big event on their individual social media profiles before confirming. Nick Jonas posted a photo of a jersey with the No. 22, while Joe and Kevin posted 24 and 11 respectively.

The final collaboration was announced later, making their performance a highlight for the day.

What caught everyone's eye was the fact that there were three jerseys that had Jonas written on them, along with the Salvation Army logo beside it.

This performance is also called the 'Red Kettle Kickoff', which is a yearly tradition for the Cowboys. It is also the result of their partnership with The Salvation Army, working to promote the Red Kettle Campaign.

The Jonas Brothers seemed as excited as fans for the event. After all, it is an opportunity to perform for the Cowboys show.

"We couldn't be more excited to return to AT&T Stadium and play The Salvation Army halftime show," Jonas Brothers said. "We are honored that our performance will help raise awareness of the great need that exists and encourage everyone to donate to The Salvation Army to make a difference in their communities this holiday season and all year long."

Jonas Brothers' dream of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show

Earlier this year, Nick Jonas spoke of the Super Bowl halftime show, and how it will be a dream for them to perform on that grand stage. The Cowboys show is certainly one step closer in the correct direction.

"It's been a dream for us," Jonas told PEOPLE. "I hope one day we get to do it!"

While the Jonas boys are yet to perform on the show, Nick was a part of the 60-second Toyota ad aired during Super Bowl LVI.

How will the Jonas Brothers show help raise money?

The Salvation Army will focus on helping people cope with inflation, especially as people struggle to make ends meet. As help, they even provide Christmas gifts, food, shelter, and rent to those who need it.

On its end, the Red Kettle Campaign is the largest fundraiser of its kind. Since 2021, they have supported over 25 million in the USA.
