“It was a situation that could’ve broken the team” – Josh Allen reveals how Bills soldiered through violent snowstorm ahead of Browns matchup

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills defeated the Cleveland Browns in Week 11 at a neutral venue. The game was supposed to be played in Buffalo, but due to snowstorms, the game got shifted to Detroit.

The Bills did win the game but it wasn't easy for them considering the conditions at home. It was very tough for everyone associated with the franchise to even reach Detroit due to the difficult weather conditions in Buffalo.

Josh Allen recently talked about the experience of that snowstorm and how people in the community helped everyone on the team. Here's what the Bills' quarterback said about the circumstances on Kyle Brandt's Basement:

"We kept power, got to watch a bunch of movies and and hang out, obviously we didn't practice Friday which was weird, Saturday they, again needed all the help that we can get of getting out of the driveway."

Allen added:

"You saw all the videos of Bills mafia helping helping the players out in order for us to get to the facility and then to the airport so we can make it to the game."

He continued:

"So, it was a situation that could have broken the team, I think. But I think, we saw the love and support from Bill's mafia and guys were extremely appreciative of it."

The Buffalo Bills won the game 31-23 and improved to 7-3. Josh Allen, who has been dealing with an elbow injury, was able to lead his team to a win and make the Bills fans happy back home.

Allen threw for 197 yards and a touchdown. Unlike previous weeks, the Bills quarterback didn't throw an interception, which was a positive sign for them.

Josh Allen's MVP stock has declined drastically

Prior to their win over the Browns, the Buffalo Bills lost two successive games against the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. These two losses have led to Josh Allen somewhat falling out of the MVP race.

Patrick Mahomes is now the clear-cut favorite to win the MVP award this season. Like last year, Allen hasn't been able to play top football consistently, and that has hindered both him and his team.

Their record is the most important thing and at 7-3, the Bills won't care much about anything else. With Allen's elbow seeming to be less of an issue than initially feared, Buffalo look set to make the playoffs this season.

From there, who knows, Allen may even lead his team to their first-ever Super Bowl win.
