Shedeur Sanders is in the middle of OTAs with the Cleveland Browns. Coach Prime's son went in the fifth round with the 144th pick to Kevin Stefanski's team. However, he's not the only quarterback the Browns drafted, as they had also acquired ex-Oregon star Dillon Gabriel in the third round.

The Browns also have veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, with the rookies, asfor the 2025 season. However, Shedeur Sanders has received praise from ex-NFL star Robert Griffin III. He shared a clip of the rookie's OTAs on social media and praised his skills with the ball while talking about why he should have gone in the first round as projected pre-draft.

However, Jason Whitlock wasn't on board with RGIII's sentiments about Coach Prime's son. Whitlock has been a strong critic of the Sanders clan. On the latest episode of his show, he called out RGIII for his take on Shedeur and labeled him as someone who's trying to get into Deion's good books.

He's watched the highlight clips of Shedeur Sanders in OTAs and said, 'When you wath the clips of Shedeur Sanders, you see why his tape said he was a first-round draft pick quarterback.

Coach Prime's son has tough competition to secure his spot on Kevin Stefanski's roster. On Thursday, ex-NFL star Emmanuel Acho shared his perspective on the quarterback's future with the franchise.

On FS1's The Facility, Acho pointed out that Shedeur has three "political" problems that will hinder his chances of becoming the starting quarterback.

"Even if Shedeur Sanders is the most talented quarterback, it might be politics that keep him from starting Week 1," Acho said. "What might those politics be?
"Hey, we invested $4 million into Joe Flacco, politics number one. Hey, we traded for Kenny Pickett, politics number two. Hey, we drafted Dillon Gabriel in the third round, and Shedeur in the fifth round, politics number three."

Amidst the ongoing OTAs, the 2024 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm winner is viewed as a fourth-string quarterback on the Browns' depth chart. Will Shedeur be able to prove himself worthy and see time as QB1 during his debut NFL campaign?
