“Lamar Jackson’s leading us in high knees. Ravens flock, let’s fly” – Justin Tucker roasts Russell Wilson after corny in-flight antics

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has had an interesting start to his tenure with his new team. The "Broncos Country, Let's Ride" catchphrase has already overstayed its welcome as the team's struggles have lingered all season.

The Broncos took an eight-hour charter across the pond for their upcoming game in London this week, where they will face the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to many sources, Wilson, who missed last week's game due to a hamstring injury, did high knee drills up and down the aisle of the airplane.

This apparently went on for a total of four hours across the span of the flight. While memes have circulated to poke fun at the quarterback, it was the Baltimore Ravens who had a little fun of their own in a roast of the Broncos quarterback.

After the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-22 on Thursday night, the team was in good spirits on the flight back home. In a video posted to social media, Marlon Humphrey walked up to kicker Justin Tucker.

Tucker then asked if everyone wanted to know what they were doing on the ride back home. He then jokingly stated that quarterback Lamar Jackson would be leading the team in high knees during the flight. And, then finished with his own Raven-themed catchphrase as a roast to the 'Let's Ride' one that Wilson uses.

"What do you want to know? What are we doing on the plane ride back home? I heard Lamar's leading us in high knees. Raven's flock, let's fly."

Tucker's roast of Russell Wilson led his teammates to burst out into laughter. Tucker went 2 for 3 on the night on field goal attempts, a blocked field goal before halftime was the only blemish.

Russell Wilson missed the Week 7 matchup against the New York Jets with a hamstring injury. However, it appears that his in-flight antics may have helped his recovery process.

On Friday morning, Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett told reporters that Russell will start on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“I was walking up and down the aisle, everybody else was knocked out, I was doing high knees, working my legs and everything else, making sure I was ready to rock. That was good. Then I fell asleep for one hour and I watched film for the rest. I felt good to go."

The quarterback claimed that the plane exercises were a part of his preparation to get the hamstring ready.

Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos will look to bounce back this week against the Jaguars. The Broncos have lost four games straight and are just 2-5 on the season.
