Public shootings have been a regular occurrence in the States, and this was another example of why gun laws need to be examined by the government.

During the shooting in the mall, one victim, a 19-year-old boy, was directly hit and died at the scene. Another's clothes were grazed by a bullet. As per Fox News, here's what Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said during a press conference:

"Whoever did this, we will catch them. And whoever helps them, we will lock you up, too, This is just stupid, stupid, stupid."

"If someone is going to have complete disrespect for humanity, I don’t know if we can stop them."

The police forces will do their utmost best to catch the people that were responsible for the shooting. Until then, people around the country can only hope for the best.
