Micah Parsons' brother, Terrence, isn’t so fond of Jake Ferguson as the Dallas Cowboys’ TE1 heading into the 2025 NFL season. The team might have more than one option at that position this upcoming campaign, and Terrence reacted to it on social media.

Cowboys reporter Nick Harris shared Tuesday that second-year tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford has been “one of the consistent standouts in media availabilities” during the team’s minicamp.

"Jake Ferguson in trouble lol," he wrote.

After a fan said the Cowboys needed to give more attention to the veteran, suggesting he could become a top-five player at his position, Micah Parsons’ brother doubled down and diminished Ferguson’s abilities.

"He might not be the best on the team bro lol," Terrence clapped back.

Jake Ferguson has spent three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, playing 16, 17 and 14 games, respectively. He’s coming off a season with 59 receptions for 494 yards and zero touchdowns. In his career, he has racked up 149 receptions for 1,429 yards and seven touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Spann-Ford played 17 games during his first season in the league, racking up nine receptions for 88 yards and no touchdowns. He seems to be emerging as the Cowboys’ second option at tight end behind Ferguson, but Micah Parsons’ brother thinks there could be more for these two.

Micah Parsons on showing up for mandatory minicamp amid contract standoff

Ever since the 2024 season ended for Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys, his new contract has been a recurring topic around the NFL. Unlike Cincinnati Bengals’ Trey Hendrickson, another defensive star trying to get a new deal, Parsons showed up at his team’s mandatory minicamp Tuesday.

Speaking about this decision with the press, the pass rusher explained why he opted to be present.

"I think it’s important to be in the building, the knowledge of the defense, to understand what (defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus) and (they) are trying to do. Very dynamic scheme and I’m pretty excited about it.”

The Cowboys are under a new regime, with Brian Schottenheimer taking over from Mike McCarthy at AT&T Stadium. They know another season like 2024 can’t happen again, and Parsons is ready to do anything to secure good results.
