NFL analyst names the QB who closest replicates former Packers legend - “He is really looking like this generation’s Brett Favre”

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is one of the most explosive quarterbacks to ever grace the game. He is a Hall of Famer and to this day, not many quarterbacks can do things that he was able to do.

However, Chris Broussard believes another quarterback who is currently playing in the NFL resembles a lot of Favre. He recently described how Josh Allen could be the second coming of the former Packers QB.

Here's what Chris Broussard said about Josh Allen on First Things First:

"He is really looking like this generation’s Brett Favre. He's gonna do some spectacular things, some wonderful things, but then he's gonna make some bad mistakes. He's still a great, he's still a great one and I'll take him."

Broussard added:

"But the mistakes you just have to hope because he's gonna do a lot of great things in just about every game. But you just have to hope that the mistakes don't kill you. Alright, but here's the thing I've never said he's better than Patrick Mahomes."

Over the course of his career, Favre threw for 71,838 yards and 508 touchdowns and was selected to play in 11 Pro Bowls. He also won one Offensive Player of the Year award, three MVP awards, and one Super Bowl.

If Josh Allen is to emulate what Brett Favre did in his career, the Buffalo Bills quarterback still has a long way to go. However, talent-wise, Allen might go on to become a better player than the former Green Bay Packers quarterback.

Josh Allen would like to win more Super Bowls than Brett Favre

Although Brett Favre was one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL, he still managed to win just one Super Bowl. Josh Allen, on the other hand, would hope to win more Super Bowls than Favre did.

Winning one Super Bowl is also very tough, but with how Allen has played so far in his career, and how the Buffalo Bills are built for success, we can see him winning multiple Super Bowls when it's all said and done.

So far, Allen has suffered a lot of heartbreak in the postseason and will want to avoid them this time around. The Bills are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Divisional Round on Monday.
