Flag football has become a national craze ever since the NFL decided that its Pro Bowl would have it in place of the traditional gridiron game for the 2022 season. Recently, Darrell "Housh" Doucette, a 2022 World Games gold medalist in the sport, made this bold claim in an interview with TMZ:

"At the end of the day, I feel like I'm better than Patrick Mahomes because of my IQ of the game."

So fans decided to delve into the footage and found this clip of him practicing throws during a US national team practice session:

More reactions can be seen below:

"Im better than him and I havent picked up a football in maybe 10 years," one claimed.
"That form is next level gutter ball bad. A future Raiders player if there ever was one, as God intended." another jeered.
"How you get CTE playing flag football???" another wondered.

US 2028 Olympics flag football team should include Colin Kaepernick, says Megan Rapinoe

The athletic portfolio for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles includes flag football, and already one high-profile name has been mentioned: Colin Kaepernick.

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has not been seen on a football field since 2016, after which he was unofficially forced to retire amidst the NFL's criticism of his activism against police brutality and racial inequality. However, former soccer star Megan Rapinoe sees him as an ideal candidate to end his soon-to-be decade-plus absence by joining the host nation's flag football team.

Speaking on the A Touch More podcast with her fiancee, former basketball player Sue Bird, she said:

“Oh God, he would be so good in flag football... I think it would be awesome. I would love to see Colin be able to represent America in an Olympics. I think that would be an unbelievably special moment.
“He’s my flag bearer. I think that would be really incredible to have that representation of America also be front and center at an Olympics. That would be really cool.”

These statements align with the general sentiment of Kaepernick, who told Sky Sports over a week ago:

"Hopefully we'll be out there. We're gonna work on some things, see if we can make it in there. But (I) would love to be out there."

Other players who have expressed their interest in doing Olympic flag football include Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Tua Tagovailoa, Travis Kelce, and Micah Parsons.
