Pat McAfee has held many titles in his life as an NFL punter and a successful host of his eponymous show. Now, he can prepare to add another title to that list: father to a baby girl. During a gender reveal party, the sports analyst and his wife Samantha shared the news in front of family and friends. It will be the couple's first child together.
Samantha McAfee is a graduate of Center Grove High and attended the University of Southern Indiana. She’s an animal lover and worked in a pet store when she was younger. She also worked at a bar but decided to volunteer at animal shelters. However, she has a clear passion for animals. She's the founder of Fur the Brand, a non-profit that brings awareness to canine cancer.
Samantha revealed in November last year that had suffered a miscarriage. She revealed that she had to go to the emergency room after waking up in “extreme pain”. Given the struggles, it makes the news even more welcoming for her and McAfee.

Pat McAfee got married in exactly what one would think he'd get married in: half a tux with black dress shorts on the bottom. His wedding registry was at Target and included items such as poker cards, mini-fridges, and a dart board. An Xbox One controller with at least seven games, including Madden NFL 20, Need for Speed, and Crash Bandicoot was also on the registry.
The former Indianapolis Colts punter married his fiance Samantha Ludy back in August this year. In February 2019, he proposed to Ludy after taking her on a helicopter trip to a waterfall in Hawaii. McAfee captioned an Instagram post with the fillowing message:
"Months and months ago I had to have a conversation with the mirror.. I asked myself a real question, “In a perfect world, what does the future look like?”... I thought of about 15 different outcomes and every single one of them had @samilynn24 in it."
He continued:
"I realized that I didn’t want a life without you in it.. I feel like the luckiest man on earth that you said yes... in front of a waterfall. And then was completely ok with eating sandwiches in front of the bird that brought us there. It felt like a movie yesterday, Avatar to be specific, and our happily ever after is going to be a hilariously joyous one. It’s an honor to finally join #TeamRing. Let’s gooo."
