This week, Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, gave birth to their second child, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III. Many have already started talking about another generation of the Mahomes family becoming athletes. However, it might just be too soon to tell.
While Sterling has already been introduced to an athletic environment, the Mahomes scion may not follow in their parents' footsteps. Brittany herself played soccer and is currently focused on fitness training.
In an interview earlier this year, Patrick Mahomes spoke of his children's future and how he does not wish to interfere too much. After all, it should be their decision.
"I think that's the best thing for me," he explained. "I'm going to help teach my son, my daughter, all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn. But at the same time, I want to stay out of the way and let it be about them."
"That's what my dad did growing up, that's what my parents did. They let it be about me, let me out there and have fun, they didn't pressure me to do anything. I think that's why I'm in the position I am today."

Similar to how Sterling, their older daughter, was introduced, Patrick Mahomes shared a photo of his son on social media. With the baby clad in adorable brown and beige overalls, the photo does not include a face reveal.
There was also a piece of jewelry to go with it, proudly featuring the word 'Bronze' in diamonds.
After Sterling was born, Brittany was seen wearing a diamond necklace spelling her daughter's name.

Fans poured in with good wishes and love, hoping for a happy future for the kid and the family. Brittany and Patrick Mahomes had kept fans in the loop right from the beginning, sharing an announcement and important milestones like their gender reveal party.
