A clutch playoff performer in the NFL last season is hoping that the new Madden video game will do him justice after winning the Super Bowl. Isaiah Rodgers posted on X on Thursday, with a plea to EA Sports.
“Please treat me right or a little better this year,” Rodgers tweeted.

Rodgers started 12 regular season games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, defending two passes. He made some big plays in the postseason, including a fourth quarter fumble recovery in the divisional round against the LA Rams, with his team clinging to a 16-15 lead at the time.
He defended one pass in the Super Bowl as Philadelphia ended the Kansas City Chiefs' reign of two straight Super Bowl titles with a 40-22 victory. It was his first Super Bowl triumph and the second in Eagles franchise history.
The upcoming version of Madden will feature Philadelphia star running back Saquon Barkley on the cover. EA Sports promised improvements to locomotion, run and pass blocking, along with defensive zone coverage and physics.
Rodgers joined the Minnesota Vikings in March, signing a two-year $15 million deal.
Isaiah Rodgers’ expectations in Minnesota
Coming off a Super Bowl victory, Isaiah Rodgers will be looked upon as someone who can help take the Minnesota Vikings to the next level.
They made the playoffs in 2024, finishing with a 14-3 record. However, they have yet to win a postseason game this decade, losing 27-9 to the LA Rams in the wild-card round last year.
Rodgers is expected to start at cornerback, alongside Byron Murphy Jr., on a team that finished 16th in yards allowed per game in the 2024 regular season (335.4). Minnesota also gave up an average of 242 yards through the air.
The Vikings have not advanced beyond the divisional round since 2017, when the Eagles defeated them in the NFC championship game 38-7. However, they have made the playoffs five times since 2015.
Rodgers is entering his fifth NFL campaign, having played his first three with the Indianapolis Colts.
