“Russell Wilson is losing his mind out there” – Ex-Broncos OT reveals superstar QB reverting to Seahawks ways

Russell Wilson wakes up in Denver, Colorado, on most days, but a former Denver Broncos offensive tackle has claimed that the quarterback forgets that at times.

Speaking on 92.5 FM, Tyler Polumbus said Wilson is attempting to use audibles from his time with the Seattle Seahawks while on the field in Denver's uniform. Here's how he put the shocking accusation:

"Russ is losing his mind out there-- he's using audibles from the Seahawks. The guys don't know the audibles. He's using codewords that the guys don't know."

This, of course, has led fans to offer up two competing interpretations. On one side, Broncos fans are hoping Wilson is just struggling with the offense. They believe that once he understands and knows the playbook like the back of his hand, he will likely return to how he normally has played.

On the other side, some fans feel the quarterback should know the playbook well enough by now to not be saying the wrong codewords during games.

The real answer is anyone's guess.

Entering Week 11, Russell Wilson has thrown for 1980 yards, seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Over the course of the season, he has completed 57.4 percent of his throws. The Broncos offense, meanwhile, has scored more than 20 points just twice this season.

There have been games in which the Broncos offense has come swinging out of the gates. However, the team's ability to continually put up points has largely stymied after the initial script runs its course.

Fans have continued to level criticism at head coach Nathaniel Hackett, who was hired to be an offensive mastermind for Wilson. However, one theory fans have thrown around is that Hackett, who was Aaron Rodgers' coordinator, was hired in an effort to entice Wilson to join the squad.

When he refused to leave the Packers, the Broncos were stuck with an offense that wasn't geared to their current quarterback's strengths. As a result, their offense has fallen apart from the start.

Will Russell Wilson prove this theory wrong? Will he be able to put together a run to close the regular season?
