Tom Brady and Mike Evans hooked up frequently on Sunday in a division-clinching victory over the Carolina Panthers. With the win, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ensured a spot in the playoffs and confirmed that the Panthers will be drafting early once again.

The duo, who have been rather prolific since teaming up in 2020, put together an unreal performance. With fantasy championships occurring this week, it was a great week to have either of the players.

For those that put Evans on the bench due to recent performances, Brady had a message on Twitter.

After the win, Tom Brady said:

"So if you guys benched Mike Evans in your fantasy football playoffs, you ought to go home and take a long look in the mirror. That was an unbelievable game, NFC South champs. We did it the hard way, so proud of our team."

With star cornerback Jaycee Horn sidelined with a broken wrist, the Panthers had no one to match up with Evans. The Buccaneers exploited that all day to the tune of 10 catches for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

For fantasy players, that was an astonishing 48 points in PPR leagues and 38 in standard scoring. Evans won a lot of people a championship and Brady hopes everyone had the good sense to put him in their starting lineup this week.

Who will Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play in the first round?

With the NFC South wrapped up, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have secured at least one home game for the playoffs. They'll host the first round, and if they happen to get through and play someone with a lower seed, they'll host another game.

The final playoff spot is up in the air and seeding could still change. However, as it stands, the Buccaneers will draw the Dallas Cowboys first. But if the Cowboys win the NFC East, that would change. Tampa Bay would play the Philadelphia Eagles if that were the case.

The Buccaneers defeated the Cowboys in Week 1 this year and ousted the Eagles from the playoffs last season. Either one would be an interesting matchup to say the least.
