Tom Brady suffered yet another setback in the ongoing season when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Cleveland Browns in overtime in Week 12. This loss is worse because of the record the legendary quarterback has in matches going into overtime.

Brady hadn't lost an overtime game in seven years since the 2015 NFL season before his latest match. The loss in 2015 came when he was playing for the New England Patriots and was defeated by the New York Jets in Week 16.

In addition to his seven-year winning streak in overtime games, he also brought with him a stellar 13-4 career record in such matches.

The game against the Browns was just the second time the Buccaneers have gone into overtime since Tom Brady joined the team prior to the start of the 2020 NFL season. The first occurred in Week 14 of the 2021 NFL season against the Buffalo Bills. Brady threw a game-winning touchdown pass to Breshad Perriman to earn the victory for the Bucs.

Week 12 of the 2022 NFL season turned out to be a much different story. The Buccaneers were defeated by the Browns on a game-winning touchdown rush by Nick Chubb. Brady had opportunities to score in overtime, but the Buccaneers were forced to punt on both of their possessions in the extra quarter of the game.

The loss dropped the Buccaneers to a disappointing 5-6 record so far this year. It also dropped Brady's career overtime record to 13-5 overall, including in the NFL playoffs.

While this is still surely an impressive career record in overtime, it was a frustrating loss, especially considering the Buccaneers' struggles during the 2022 NFL season so far.

Given the magnitude of the entire situation, Super Bowl LI is the most impressive overtime victory of Tom Brady's legendary career. This was the only Super Bowl in NFL history to go to overtime.

It also features a signature performance from Brady's incredible career. He has achieved many great things, but no other wins were quite like this one.

The New England Patriots trailed the Atlanta Falcons 28-3 in the third quarter of the game. This is where Tom Brady took over, leading the Patriots to score the final 31 points of the game.

The iconic comeback victory was capped off by a game-winning touchdown drive in overtime. This is one of the most memorable games in NFL history.
