Philadelphia have a chance to become just the second league franchise to go unbeaten on their way to a Super Bowl championship. The 1972 Miami Dolphins were the first. The additional game starting last season gives the Eagles a chance to become the first league franchise to go 17-0 during the regular season.

Jalen Hurts is the quarterback for the unbeaten Eagles. In Week 6 he completed 15 of 25 passes for 155 passing yards and two touchdowns. In September, Hurts was named the NFC's offensive player of the month. In addition to dominating opponents with his legs, he has dominated the league in several passing metrics this year.

The Eagles have a bye week before their next game, which will be against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. Looking forward has never been wise in the NFL, but Philadelphia's upcoming four matches appear favorable. The Eagles face the Houston Texans, Washington Commanders, and Indianapolis Colts after the Steelers.
