Brian Robinson is the new starting running back for the Washington Commanders, a team needing a boost for a couple of years. The Alabama Crimson Tide alum was living the dream after being drafted 98th overall by the Commanders. However, it was almost over before it even began.
On August 28, 2022, Robinson was shot in the knee and glute during an attempted carjacking involving two armed men. He had just left a restaurant in the Near Northeast neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Thankfully, the injuries sustained in the shooting were not life-threatening, and he was treated immediately. Born Kimberly Ornetta Little on January 1, 1975, she went on to graduate from Central High School and Shelton State Community College. She found a decent-paying job at Bryce Hospital and worked there for over twenty years before moving to Alabama. There, her son played for Coach Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Little has been her son's biggest supporter, as she can frequently be seen attending his games. She was also in attendance for his debut NFL game.
