Business magnate Elon Musk has caught a lot of heat over his recent acquisition and running of the social media website Twitter. Musk, who is famous for his other business ventures, such as Tesla and SpaceX, initiated an acquisition of the American social media company and bought it outright on October 27, 2022.
Since then, he's brought about many changes, including the company's decision to monetize verified accounts. But his most recent decision has brought about more ire. Twitter, which uses a two-factor authentication (2FA) process, helps users keep their accounts secure. But the service will no longer be free, as per Musk.
The decision by the Twitter CEO to no longer allow non-verified users to use text messages as a 2FA method after March 20 has not gone well with Twitter users who have taken to the app to express their discontent. Among them is Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons.
Parsons expressed his discontent by saying that the decision might just force his hand into quitting the app itself. Musk's decision to further monetize the social media platform has irked many, and it looks like Parsons is going to be among the millions to quit the website's services.

"I don’t understand the Amari situation. And I ain’t ask enough questions to figure out what was going on or why that happened."
The NFC East traded the wide receiver to the Cleveland Browns for two fifth-round picks and a swap of sixth-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. The trade was perhaps made in mind to clear up enough cap room to re-sign receiver Michael Gallup.
Either way, fans were left confused by the decision, given the wide receiver's output over the years. The decision to keep running back Ezekiel Elliot on a bumper contract instead further made the entire scenario all the more confusing.
