Deestroying might be headed to the XFL.

After countless obstacles and challenges, the XFL has returned in 2023 for its third attempt. Co-owned by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the football league is off to a great start. Considering his recent video, YouTuber Deestroying might be headed to the XFL as a player.

The 26-year-old recently attended the game between the Arlington Renegades and Vegas Vipers, which Arlington won 22-20. Before the game, however, Deestroying and Renegades' Marquette King Jr. spoke about the YouTube star playing in the league. Though it wasn't a complete yes, it also wasn't a complete no on Deestroying's end.

"I feel like I had opportunity as well. But it got sut short and I and I had to make certain choices. But the fact that this league is back... I'm gonna see how the league go and I'm gonna see if you feel me if I wanna maybe play in the XFL."

However, considering everything at play, it wasn't easy to drop the rest and just join the XFL as a player.

"The fans at home don't really know that and they always go, 'Play, we're gonna play.' It's not that easy. But we gonna see how the day go by."

Deestroying spoke to Dwayne Johnson about playing in the XFL

After they reached the venue, the Costa Rica native interviewed the the XFL's current owners, Johnson and Dany Garcia. He started by asking them about their expectations for the league, which was revamped after the pandemic in 2020.

Spring football is the league's way of providing athletes with more opportunities and also a chance to interact with fans. As per Garcia, this is the 2.0 version. Johnson agreed, speaking of doing something when people didn't believe you could do it.

Deestroying, of course, had to ask them for an opportunity to play.

"I chose to take the YouTube path, but I still got a lil' something in me. Let me know if ya'll are looking for somebody," he said.

Garcia replied:

"You just put that on video."

Joking a little, the young influencer added that now, it "has to happen."

As the XFL season progresses, one can probably expect more interaction with the YouTuber, who seems just as excited about the new league as everyone else.
