Will Packers be irrelevant without Aaron Rodgers? Green Bay tipped for post-Tom Brady Patriots spiral

Tom Brady's wake could be the same as that of Aaron Rodgers, claims NFL analyst

Over the last several years, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees have all left their teams behind. In the following seasons, all three teams saw a big decline in relevance. Speaking on "Good Morning Football," NFL insider James Palmer predicted that the Packers would follow in their footsteps without Aaron Rodgers. Here's how he put it:

"Is it time? Probably. Is Jordan Love the long-term solution? Yes. Does he give you the best chance to win right now? Probably not... It's Brady leaving New England. What has happened in New England since Brady has left?"

Will the Packers finish over .500 without Aaron Rodgers?

He continued, talking about when the Sheriff left his team:

"Peyton Manning retired in Denver in 2015. They haven't had a [playoff] season since he retired. I live in Denver... This is what happens... when you lose one of these players. Your relevancy changes. Can Jordan Love keep the Packers relevant immediately? We haven't seen it with these quarterbacks that are generational talents, the greatest we've ever seen."

How have the Patriots performed since Tom Brady left Bill Belichick?

No. 12 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers v Arizona Cardinals

The year 2019 was the final season that No. 12 wore the Patriots' colors. In his final year, the team went 12-4 and lost in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Since then, the team has failed to get the same level of success in two of the following three seasons.

If one looks at the general quality of the team's performances during Brady's time with the team and what the team has done since, it is night and day.
