Aaron Rodgers appears to be all but done with the Green Bay Packers. While the New York Jets and Packers have been talking about a deal for the quarterback, nothing has been set in stone. Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson has made himself a little bit more available, as he revealed that he requested a trade from the Ravens earlier this month.
In response to the bombshell, ESPN's "Get Up" crew began speculating about the odds of the Jets pursuing the younger option. NFL analyst Tedy Bruschi ultimately cautioned the team against the move amid the current situation, claiming it could blow up the deal for No. 12:

As it stands, No. 12 is still a member of the team he's been with since before the original iPhone was released. However, in every other way, No. 12 appears to have moved on. Heading into the offseason, the quarterback saw three potential options. He could find a new team, return to the Packers or retire.
In comments made on the "Pat McAfee Show," he claimed he was all but ready to walk away from the game heading into his darkness retreat. However, he's had a change of heart and now intends to play for the New York Jets. Of course, once again, no transaction has taken place, putting the quarterback in essentially the same place as everyone else around the country.
