Among the most eagerly awaited sporting events in the US is the NFL Draft. In 2022, it was held in Las Vegas and attracted over 300,000 attendees and more than 10 million viewers.
The draft for this year is about a month away. The Detroit Lions are also receiving two first-round selections for the second year in a row as a result of Matthew Stafford's deal with the Los Angeles Rams. On Day 1, they'll select No. 6 and 18 and have three more choices in the second and third rounds.
While there is a lot of interest in which players will be selected first in April, there will be something for everyone to look forward to in the 2024 draft as the NFL continues to expand outside of its usual New York base.

The 89th gathering of NFL teams to choose their share of young players will occur in 2024. On April 25–27, 2024, the draft will take place in Detroit, Michigan, near Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza.
On March 28, 2022, Detroit was selected as the host city. Washington, D.C., and Green Bay lost out to the city.
It's important to note that Detroit had to work hard to get the pick. As the NFL began using rotational locations in 2017, the team made a presentation for the city to stage the event. The club's sales pitch focused on Detroit's rich history, the area's closeness to many college and professional sports markets, and the area's vibrant supporter base.
The 88th NFL Draft in Kansas City, which takes place this year and includes the Carolina Panthers owning the first overall selection following a swap with the Chicago Bears, will be followed by the 2024 event.
Will the ticket to the 2024 NFL draft be free?
The NFL foretells that tickets for the NFL Draft in 2024 will be free if we base our predictions on the 2023 draft. Similar to what they're doing in Kansas City, you'll probably need to register to attend. Further information will be provided later.
