Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is apparently calling out all those who haven't supported him with his latest cryptic Instagram post. Late Wednesday night, the 27-year-old posted a short message on his Instagram stories. He said that he will continue to pray for those who didn't support him during his trying times.

"I still pray love over the people who turned their backs on me."

This shows that the quarterback doesn't have any ill will toward those who didn't support him through the sexual harrassment allegations made against him and his subsequent suspension. However, what provoked Watson to decide to post this to his Instagram page is unknown at this time.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback missed the first 11 games of the 2022 NFL season after being suspended by the league following sexual misconduct allegations from over 20 former massage therapists. At the time, he also requested a trade from the Houston Texans and sat out the entire 2021 NFL season.

He will start his first full NFL season for the first time since 2020. Perhaps what Watson posted was his way of sending a message to everyone who still doubts him.

Cam Newton names Deshaun Watson as one QB he would backup

Quarterback Cam Newton didn't play in 2022 after his second stint with the Carolina Panthers at the end of the 2021 NFL season. He remains a free agent and is still pursuing an NFL career.

On Wednesday, Newton posted a video to his YouTube channel, along with a list of quarterbacks that he would be willing to sit behind as a backup.

At the top of that list is the Cleveland Browns quarterback. While he didn't go into detail on why he admires the quarterback so much, Newton did say that he admires him as a person and an athlete.

“No. 1, I would back up Deshaun Watson. It goes without saying me and Deshaun Watson’s relationship, he was on my 7-on-7 All-Star team. I’ve grown to admire the person, the athlete that he is. Going through a lot of turmoil, but I believe that’s behind him.”

The quarterback responded to Newton's declaration on his locked Twitter page by calling him his 'family.'

“That’s my family!”

Newton also said that he would be willing to backup Tua Tagovailoa, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Sam Howell, Malik Willis and Justin Fields.
