Stetson Bennett found great success while at the University of Georgia, winning multiple National Championships. The quarterback now finds himself at the next level as he was drafted in the fourth round of this year's NFL Draft by the Rams.

The rookie signal-caller posed in the uniform and fans took to Twitter to share their feelings on his look in the gold and blue:

Bennett was one of the older players selected at age 25 and fans took notice as he donned the Rams jersey for the first time:

Bennett played in just 12 games in his first two seasons at Georgia before taking over as the starter in the 2021 season. That season, Stetson Bennett threw for 2,862 yards, 29 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. His final season with the Bulldogs was his best season as he led the SEC with 4,128 yards and third with 27 touchdowns.

Last season, his 68.1 completion percentage ranked 10th in college football. He'd earn the Manning Award as college football's best quarterback. Bennett's outstanding season propelled him into the Heisman Trophy competition, where he finished fourth in the voting.

Could Stetson Bennett see some time on the field in his rookie season?

Bennett will likely be competing to backup veteran Matthew Stafford with Brett Rypien, who the Los Angeles Rams signed this offseason. Stafford is 35 years old and coming off an injury-plagued 2022 season. The former Bulldogs star started just nine games due to suffering from a concussion and neck injury.

If Stetson Bennett can beat out Rypien in training camp, he could see some reps during the upcoming season. Plus, Stafford is the Rams starter for the next couple of seasons thanks to his four-year, $160 million extension last March.

The team could see Bennett as Stafford's successor and have him sit behind him in 2023. Time will tell as to when Rams fans will see the rookie quarterback in action.
