Most wins in NFL history by a QB-HC pairing

Here are the five quarterback and head coach duos who have combined for the most wins in NFL history.

#3 (tied at #2) - Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers - 144 wins

Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger are among the most underrated duos in NFL history. They are tied for the second most wins ever with 144 and have won a Super Bowl together. They never once recorded a losing season as a tandem. The 2022 NFL season will be the first of Tomlin's head coaching career without Roethlisberger, who retired following the 2021 season.

#4 - Don Shula and Dan Marino, Miami Dolphins - 122 wins

Don Shula is one of the greatest coaches in NFL history, holding the all-time record with 347 career wins. About half of those wins came with Dan Marino as his quarterback. When Marino retired from the NFL, he held almost every passing record possible, including yards and touchdowns. He also holds the unfortunate title of best quarterback who never won a Super Bowl.

#5 - Chuck Noll and Terry Bradshaw, Pittsburgh Steelers - 121 wins

The only team Terry Bradshaw ever played for was the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Chuck Noll was his only head coach ever. They created a dynasty in the 1970s decade, winning four Super Bowls, including going back-to-back twice. Bradshaw was named Super Bowl MVP in two of their four victories. Noll and Bradshaw won 121 of their 177 total games together as a duo.
