Tom Brady and Derek Jeter are two of the most recognized faces in the world of sports. Both have reached the apex of their respective sports. Jeter retired from MLB after 20 seasons with the New York Yankees in 2014. In a candid conversation back in February 2016, Brady asked Jeter how he and his then-girlfriend, Hannah Davis, were doing during the former Yankees' retirement.

Jeter said:

“Retirement is good!”

Brady chimed in to say:

“I know! You’re a mogul! Look at you! I love it. Good for you!”

Looking at Jeter's 20 seasons in MLB, he won Rookie of the Year in the 1996 season. He was a five-time Silver Slugger and Gold Glove winner. He also won five World Series, his last being in the 2009 - 2010 season.

Jeter finished his career with 3,465 hits, 260 home runs, and 1,311 RBIs, and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020. Brady, 45, is still going strong in his 23rd season in the NFL.

When Derek Jeter retired from MLB in 2014, Tom Brady was playing his 15th season in the NFL, all with the New England Patriots. In the 2014 - 2015 season, the quarterback led the Patriots to victory in Super Bowl 49. It was Brady's fourth Lombardi Trophy, winning his then-third Super Bowl MVP.

The quarterback would go on to win two more Super Bowls with the Patriots before leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2020. In the 2020 - 2021 season, Brady won his seventh Super Bowl and fifth Super Bowl MVP award.

The three-time NFL MVP is currently playing in his 23rd season and became the first quarterback to throw for over 100K yards in a career. The two sports legends are connected both on and off the field. Brady rented out Jeter's mansion in Tampa when the quarterback first arrived in the city.

Tom Brady played for the Michigan Wolverines as Jeter is a fan of the university. While we know Jeter is retired for good, fans don't know if Brady will call it a career after this NFL season.
