TY Hilton grabbed headlines when he signed for the Dallas Cowboys earlier this week. The veteran receiver will provide another attacking outlet for Dak Prescott and Co., who are on the verge of reaching the playoffs.

Dallas' move to sign Hilton comes after weeks of speculation and being linked with receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who visited the team last week. Nonetheless, as Hilton becomes the latest member of the Cowboys squad, we take a look at his salary, bonuses, and incentives on his new contract.

Hilton's deal with the Cowboys appears to be team-friendly. As per reports, the 33-year-old will receive a guaranteed $600,000 over the course of the next four games. He will also get a $50,000 per-game roster bonus and up to $700,000 in playoff incentives. His deal in total could rise to a whopping $1.5 million with added incentives.

TY Hilton spent the first 10 seasons of his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts. However, he was a free agent heading into the current season. The receiver has had five 1,000-yard seasons including an NFL-best 1,148 yards in 2016.

He has racked up a total of 9,691 career receiving yards, which ranks third in Colts history behind Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne. On his 631 receptions, the four-time Pro Bowler has 53 touchdowns through the air. He also has 605 return yards and one touchdown. Last season, Hilton caught a mere 23 passes for 331 yards and three touchdowns.

He will join an offense that already boasts the likes of CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup. The veteran wideout is thus expected to fill a backup role in Mike McCarthy's offense.

Hilton should benefit in the passing game thanks to the two-headed monster Dallas has cultivated in its backfield. Running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard provide the perfect one-two punch to set up the passing game.

The Cowboys will surely be among the contenders to go deep into the postseason given the squad they've gathered. At 10-3 on the season so far, they're set to be a likely presence on Wild Card weekend.
