Is Brock Purdy married to Jenna Brandt? All about the 49ers QB's relationship

Brock Purdy was the talk of the town after the rookie quarterback blew apart the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today. Starting against Tom Brady coming into his first start, Mr. Irrelevant in the 2022 NFL Draft led the San Francisco 49ers to a 35-7 blowout over the GOAT.

When he was selected as the last pick in this year's draft, such a scenario would have been the furthest from anyone's mind. He was the third choice in the quarterback depth chart. It took injuries to both Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo for him to come in. It is fair to say that very few people believed in him outside his family.

Perhaps only one person has stood by him through all his struggles outside his family. That is his girlfriend, Jenna Brandt.

Who is Jenna Brandt?

Jenna Brandt and Brock Purdy have known each other since their time at Iowa State. Brock Purdy played as the quarterback for Iowa State from 2018 to 2021 before declaring for this year's NFL Draft.

Jenna Brandt is also a sportsperson and played volleyball in college. She joined Iowa State in the same year as Purdy and also played until January 2021, when she transferred to the University of Northern Iowa. She majored in kinesiology.

Jenna Brandt is the daughter of Amy and Kevin Brandt. She was born on October 26, 1999. She has two siblings, an older sister and an older brother. She also has a younger sister. Older sister Kaylyn also played volleyball with UMKC from 2013 to 2016. She recently tweeted that her younger sister Morgan has also been selected to the volleyball team at Iowa State.

She comes from a sporting family from Sumner and seems like a perfect fit for her boyfriend's family. Purdy's sister also played softball and his brother is also a quarterback who hopes to follow his brother into the NFL one day. Perhaps that is why there were reports that she had married Brock Purdy.

Despite their love for each other, we have no confirmation of any such news. She, however, made their relationship official on her Instagram page on November 5, 2022. She posted a photo of herself on an Iowa farm with her boyfriend saying he was "my boy" to which Purdy replied, "My girl."

In July 2023, Purdy and Jenna announced their engagement.

Emtional, Purdy wrote in his caption:

"My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!"

The sweet couple has been together under the radar. But after demolishing the GOAT in his first start, both Brock Purdy and Jenna Brandt are now firmly in the spotlight.
