Justin Jefferson is in his third season with the Minnesota Vikings. He is one of the league's top wide receivers, establishing an NFL rookie record with 1,400 receiving yards. Ja'Marr Chase, a former LSU teammate, broke the record in 2021 with 1,455 receiving yards.

Justin Jefferson was born in St. Rose, Louisiana, on 16 June, 1999. He attended Destrehan High School in Destrehan. The Vikings WR is committed to Louisiana State University (LSU) as a low three-star prospect, and 247Sports ranked him as the nation's 308th-best wide receiver coming out of high school.

John has been a Division II collegiate basketball player in the past. He never played in the NBA, but is proud of his offspring, who have played in several big leagues.

Justin's father, John Earl Jefferson, was born in Louisiana, United States. He went to Slidell High School and then to the University of Louisiana at Monroe. John sacrificed his goal of being a professional basketball player and is now employed by Grainger, a commercial and industrial equipment provider.

He is married to Elaine Jefferson, with whom he has three sons: Jordon, Rickey, and Justin. All three are football players that attended LSU throughout their collegiate careers.

Jordon is a former quarterback who now coaches football at Colorado State. Rickey is presently a safety with the New Orleans Saints.

Justin aspired to be a football player like his siblings. He is the third LSU product in his family, and the most successful. In each of his first two NFL seasons, Justin was a pro bowler and a second-team All-Pro. He started all 11 games in 2022, recording 81 catches on 116 targets for 1,232 yards and five touchdowns.

The Minnesota Vikings selected Justin in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2020 NFL draft. He is playing his third season with the Vikings and so far has 265 receptions from 392 targets for 4,076 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Last season, he recorded 108 receptions for 1,616 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 23-year-old made it to the Pro Bowl twice and was named second in the list of Offensive Rookie of the Year 2020.
