Whittaker recently returned after a lengthy lay-off to face âThe Last Stylebenderâ Israel Adesanya on 6 October 2019 in the headliner of UFC 243 in Melbourne, Australia. A rusty looking Whittaker got knocked out emphatically in the second round, handing Adesanya the championship title.
