Appearance of Dragapult

Dragapult is a large Pokémon with a unique draconic, reptilian, and somewhat technological appearance. It is over 3 meters long from head to tail with a navy blue hide on its torso and head and a light blue hide on its legs and tail. Its wide, flat, triangular head looks like a modern stealth bomber with red wings with missile bays on top where Dreepy lives and hides. Its eyes are thin slits, and its belly looks like a tan runway with red arrow markings pointing upward. It is quadrupedal and has short limbs ending in long claws. Its tail is longer than its body and laterally flattened, and it fades along its length to translucence at its tip.

Shiny Dragapult swaps its tan belly for white and its red accents for neon yellow.

Behavior of Dragapult

Dragapult’s evolutionary line are ghosts of ancient Pokémon that inhabited the seas of the Galar Region. Though Dragapult now spends its time floating through the air, its body type would have made it a strong, fast swimmer like an ancient seafaring crocodile. Dragapult bonds closely with others of its kind and frequently leads and protects small communities of Dreepy and Drakloak. Dragapult always carries at least two Dreepy inside its horns, which it launches at supersonic speeds to attack its foes.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Dragapult’s Ghost and Dragon typing gives it a good defense against Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Poison, and Bug-type moves, and immunity to Normal and Fighting-type moves. However, Dragapult is weak to Ice, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy-type moves.

Dragapult’s high Attack and Speed stats make it a formidable physical sweeper.
