How to get Regieleki in Pokemon GO, and can it be shiny?

The last event of the Max Out Season, Max Out: Finale, is set to debut Shiny Regieleki in Pokemon GO via 5-star raids. The occasion will start on November 27, 2024, at 10:00 am and end on December 1, 2024, at 8:00 pm local time. You can challenge and defeat this pocket monster with your friends to earn its encounter. However, you must build the best counters possible against it because it's really challenging to take down this Raid Boss.

On April 9, 2023, Regieleki was introduced to players via 5-star raids. Now, the Max Out: Finale event is finally ready to bring both variations to the platform. That said, here is how to get your hands on Regieleki in Pokemon GO, plus its shiny variant.

Different methods to get Regieleki in Pokemon GO

Niantic’s mobile game offers two different ways to obtain the Electron Pokemon:

• Defeat 5-star raids
• Obtain from GO Battle League rewards

1) Defeat 5-star raid

Regieleki is an Electric-type Pokemon, so it is weak to Ground-type moves. Since only Ground-type attacks can damage this creature significantly, the counter Pokemon you're planning to use must be taught these moves. It is best to train these moves to a Primal Groudon/Mega Garchomp since they can improve the performance of other counters included in the lineup.

Here are some strong Pokemon GO Regieleki counters:

• Primal Groudon: Mud Shot and Precipice Blades
• Mega Garchomp: Mud Shot and Earth Power
• Rhyperior: Mud-Slap and Earthquake
• Excadrill: Mud-Slap and Scorching Sands
• Therian Forme Landorus: Mud Shot and Sandsear Storm
• Mamowsine: Mud-Slap and High Horsepower
• Rhydon: Mud-Slap and Earthquake
• Dawn Wings Necrozma: Psycho Cut and Moongiest Beam
• Incarnate Forme Landorus: Mud Shot and Earthpower

Utilizing the Shadow versions of Excadrill, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, and Rhydon is a good idea to defeat Regieleki in Pokemon GO raids, as they are better attackers. It’s worth noting that Primal Groudon can increase the performance of all Ground-type counters. Moreover, it improves the damage output of their moves.

2) Obtain from GO Battle League rewards

You can also get an encounter reward consisting of Regieleki in Pokemon GO by winning matches in the GO Battle League. However, your level in the game must be higher than 20 to receive this. Note that you cannot get this reward after the conclusion of the Max Out: Finale event.

How to get Shiny Regieleki in Pokemon GO

The obtainable methods for the normal and shiny variants are the same, so this is what you need to do:

• Defeat 5-star Raids
• Win GO Battle League matches

Do note that the likelihood of finding Shiny creatures from 5-star raids is approximately 1-in-20. This means you must win these battles as many times as possible to come across one.
